Every room is made by the caves-houses that were already there, in the typical Vicinato of Sasso Barisiano, in the center of the District of Sassi.
The so-called Vicinato was the human enstablishment molecule among Sassi: a super familiar micro-group, and also a urban shape costitutive ganglion.
Vicinato was an autonomous open system, which had its own internal equilibrium (o balance, scegli tu) even if it was often precarious, and also its peculiar system of values and habits, that were kind of accepted by all of its components.
The architectural solution were refurbished according to the original systems: facades, balconies, windows, even the interior management fits the compliance and nature of the territory.
In the inside, every residence shows the visible signs of the passing of time, such as the fossils that you can find in the arches of the emerged caves (suite deluxe) or the tanks for the gathering of the rain.
Designers and architects have been giving a sort of resembling of modernity, improving every accommodation with the highest comforts, qualities and accessibility, following a principle very dear to those who have been born and grown among the Sassi of Matera: men shall never alter the natural preexisting harmony and systems.

Its particularity is the large bathroom where a mix of parquet and mosaic leads you to the close to the ground bath tub; it’s impossible not to remain astonished by this architecture. The room is tasteful and brilliantly decorated. It’s provided with air conditioning, TV, mini-bar and free Wi-Fi. For its intimacy, it’s perfect as a romantic vacation spot.
It is possible to add an extra bed.

Deluxe Room
It’s a room all made in “Lamione”, typical architecture which consists of a barrel vault in exposed tuff. It’s a very bright room with a window onto a beautiful view of Sassi. It is possible access the roof through an independent glass door. The room is tastefully decorated and results elegant and comfortable, modern and antique forniture is mixed in perfect harmony.
It’s provided with a desk, mini-bar and a walk-in wardrobe.
The room is large and comfortable and the bathroom is provided with bidet and shower box.
You will also find air conditioning, TV and free Wi-Fi.
It is possible to add an extra bed.

Suite Room
It’s our cave-suite. The access is through the common roof. It’s a very large and comfortable room, provided with a tv-zone with a sofa, a bed and, on the bottom, a bath tub for two in the center. Along with the magic of taking a bath in a cave, the bath tub adds the “Sound Wave” system: a device that allows to connect via Bluetooth the music archive in your smartphone or tablet to the audio system of the bath tub giving the feeling that the music emanates through the water.
The bathroom is equipped with bidet and shower box.
The room is large and comfortable and it’s provided with: air conditioning, TV, mini-bar, tea pot and free Wi-Fi.
It is possible to add two extra beds.
Room 04
Comfort Room
This room is located underground (so called “Ipogea”), its access is through a glass door. It’s an alcove completely dug in tuff. Extremely comfortable even only for its conformation, cave and round, it reminds you of a mother’s womb. The bathroom, even if little, is equipped with bidet and shower box.
The room is provided with air conditioning, mini-bar, TV and free Wi-Fi.
It is possible to ad an extra bed.
Room 05
Apartment
The room number 5 is actually a small apartment dug in tuff, accessible directly from the roof by a glass door. It enters on the living room with kitchenette, on your left it opens on a large room with a queen-size bed, wardrobe and desk. A door separates these two compartments from another room with bunk bed and a window. The room completely underground (Ipogea), very cool and suggestive. The bathroom is provided with shower and bidet.
The apartment is made to host families with babies and because of this it’s provided with bed with edges, adapter for the W.C., bottle warmer and bath tube, high chair and changing table are at your disposal on request.
It also contains a TV, mini-bar and free wi-fi.

The room is really intimate, small but very suggestive, elegantly and simply decorated.
The bathroom is fitted out with bidet and large shower box with view on the Sassi.

It’s the biggest suite and extremely refine.
The whole room is particularly suggestive, defined in the smallest details. The three arches on the right side of the room give a polish and austere touch and the light effects intensify the architecture, creating an intimate and almost surreal atmosphere.
Fitted out with bar area, sofa zone, TV, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
Really particular and suggestive is the bathroom, the best part of the entire building, partly edified and partly obtained from a natural cave, where it’s possible to admire the remains of sea fossils on the vault.
This amazing experience will continue in the Japanese bath tub: deeper than the normal, it allow to completely immerge your body for a really relaxing time. To this, you can experience the “Sound Wave” system: a device that allows to connect via Bluetooth the music archive in your smartphone or tablet to the audio system of the bath tub giving the feeling that the music emanates through the water. The union of the suggestion of the cave and the comfort of the bath tub will give to you mo-ments of pure, priceless relax.

It is a “Lamione” (typical architecture which consists of a barrel vault in exposed tuff) located in the highest spot of our building. It is characterized by its view, that alone can fit in your living room.
The room is large and really bright, and it’s provided with bar area, sofa zone, TV, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
The bathroom is big and bright, fitted out with shower box and Japanese bath tub along with the “Sound Wave” system: a device that allows to connect via Bluetooth the music archive in your smartphone or tablet to the audio system of the bath tub giving the feeling that the music emanates through the water. It is a really suggestive sensory experience, that will give you priceless moments of relax.
